Officers are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on Moorside Road

At around 7.15pm on Sunday 19 October 2025, we were called to reports of a serious road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on Moorside Road, Swinton. 

Emergency services attended and a man in his 50s was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. He remains in hospital in a critical condition.
